Hi I’m W4DXL also known as Mike Miranda. It’s been quite a journey for this Amateur Radio Operator so far.  The only thing I regret is not doing it sooner! 

The great thing about Amateur Radio is the people you meet along the way.  It’s possible to make friends all the way around the world.  It makes the planet we share a smaller friendlier place. 

I also enjoy listening to a good technical discussion. That’s a big part of the hobby…listening!

While there are a host of computers in the shack I’m not currently active in the digital modes but I hope to be soon.  I’m also interested in DStar digital voice/data modes. Everything seems to be going digital these days from cell phones,  to HDTV and HD Radio.
